The purpose of this blog is to connect to one another outside of the church building. This gives us a chance to share with one another. Whether it be a recipe, an idea, a service, a question about anything, or something to give away, it can be shared and "announced" here. Please e-mail santamariasisters@gmail.com with anything that you would like to post to this blog or if you would like to be an author to posts as well. It really can be anything. Anything is worth sharing. We are all friends. We are all sisters.

Food Storage

Michele Crump is looking for two families that would like to split with her family, the Shelf Reliance Thrive offer in the Costco.com instant savings. It is a 78 #10 can supply of dehydrated and freeze-dried food. It includes fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy and proteins. The total cost delivered (I believe there is no tax) is $800 so that divided in three would be around $267 each for 26 cans each. I checked on the Shelf Reliance home page and this looks like a good deal. A similar package they offer is over $868 with 71 cans and you need to pay for shipping on top of that I believe. If this interests you call her with questions or go here to see their offer and you can see if the specific foods are what you want.

Contact Michele as soon as you can, this offer ends October 18th.

Do you have something to share??

Or do you have something that you are selling? Do you have a great recipe that you'd like to share? You should totally share it on this blog. And, if you want to just be able to post to this blog yourself, let me know. E-mail me or leave a comment with your e-mail address and I will send you an invitation to write to the blog. If that makes it easier, we can do it!

Walking Group

The Young Mothers Group will meet to go walking MWF, 8:45 - 9:45. Meet at the corner of Hummell and Glen Cairon (near Patterson Rd. school). Bring kids in strollers, or just come by yourself! Qs: contact Susie McCallister @ 878-6581 or Stephanie Ray @ 719-494-3674.

{I'm sorry for the delay in this on the blog. Gmail has not been my friend for a while. Everytime I want to send an e-mail or let alone check it, it whacks out! So I apologize!}

Vanilla Silk

Kim Wood has some Vanilla Silk {non-dairy milk} that she bought for her nephews while they were visiting. However, they only drank two small cups, and she doesn't want it to go to waste. If you would like it, let her know. She can deliver it tonight. kcarter0209@hotmail.com
